1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Lucid application ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not accept these Terms, please do not use the App.
The App is published by Neetch ("we", "Lucid"), France.
2. Description of Service
Lucid is a mobile application offering:
- A scientifically validated HEXACO personality assessment (6 dimensions, 24 facets).
- Identification of your cognitive biases based on your personality profile.
- A personal AI coach powered by Anthropic's AI models.
- A decision journal to track your decision-making patterns over time.
3. User Account
Lucid allows you to use the App anonymously. Creating an account with an email address is optional and enables multi-device sync.
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
By using Lucid, you agree to:
- Use the App only for personal and lawful purposes.
- Not attempt to circumvent the App's security measures.
- Not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit the App's content without prior written authorization.
- Not submit illegal, defamatory, or third-party rights-infringing content through the AI coach.
5. AI Coach — Limitations and Disclaimers
Lucid's AI coach is a personal decision-support tool. It does not constitute:
- Professional medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
- A mental health or therapy service.
- A substitute for guidance from a qualified professional.
AI coach responses are generated automatically and may contain errors. We encourage you to use critical judgment and consult qualified professionals for important decisions.
We are not liable for decisions made based on analyses provided by the App.
6. Intellectual Property
All elements of the App (design, text, algorithms, the "Lucid" brand) are the exclusive property of Neetch and are protected by intellectual property laws.
Content you enter into the App (test responses, journal entries) remains your property. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
7. Subscription and Payment
Certain Lucid features may be offered under a paid subscription. Applicable pricing is displayed in the App and on the Apple App Store.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled under the terms set by the App Store. Any refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy.
8. Service Availability
We strive to keep the App available at all times, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time, with or without notice.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lucid shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use the App.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the damage.
10. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will notify you through the App. Continued use of the App after notification constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
11. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access in the event of a breach of these Terms.
Upon termination, the provisions relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to seek an amicable resolution. Failing that, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
